Ettington Park Hotel Wedding | Yohan & Mark

‘I was actually highly recommended Laura from my work colleague. I had seen her work and knew that she would be perfect for the job. Laura was fantastic from start to finish. She got to know us, was always available to speak and very honest which we loved! On the day, she was brilliant and made everyone laugh and feel comfortable, she even made my dad laugh which is not easy! All of my guests commented on what a great job Laura did and how professional she was. When we got the pictures, we were so impressed – she had really listened to what we wanted from her as we wanted more natural pictures. The attention to detail was second to none and I couldn’t recommend her enough to anyone looking for a photographer for their wedding. Thanks for everything Laura, you are a diamond!’
~ Yohan & Mark

There’s no hiding from the fact that Yohan and Mark make my heart sing no end! Yohan was a guest at Mel and Dave’s wedding and it was such a lovely surprise when he emailed me about his own wedding to Mark at Ettington Park Hotel in the beautiful Stratford-upon-Avon countryside. The grandeur of this Neo-Gothic mansion is quite overwhelming at first sight, but nestled inside are areas of tranquility and the most beautiful architecture.

I literally couldn’t wait to be a part of their intimate day, even if Mark did challenge me to make him smile…challenge accepted! The couple decided to get ready together and in matching blue suits and Vivienne Westwood accessories, it wasn’t long until Mark waited underneath The Orangery for his beau to arrive. I loved that Yohan was given away by his dad which admittedly made me have a teary wobble!

Drinks and love surrounded this playful pairing on the terraces as everyone soaked up the early spring sunshine. Guests explored the grounds of Ettington Park Hotel before heading into The Chapel for an intimate candlelit dinner and it was my time to leave. I didn’t want Mark and Yohan’s day to end, but I had such a fabulous time and what more can you ask for?!

Oh…and did Mark smile? With Yohan and I being total goofballs, he didn’t stand a chance not to!!! Have a look…
