Woolston Manor Golf Club Wedding Photography| Charlene & Julian

I thought I’d blog about some of my older, but equally important second shooting work. This year saw me re-branding as Laura Ellen Photography and it’s been an amazing year, but these previous weddings helped me to carve the path that led me to Laura Ellen Photography, so it seems only fair that I share these with you. I should add that the work we do connects us with the most wonderful people. Charlene and Julian are two of those people who have become amazing friends to Chris & I since their wedding and we are forever grateful to have them in our lives. Charlene and Julian booked Chris and I some time ago for their summer wedding at Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Romford with a reception at Woolston Manor Golf & Country Club in Chigwell. On the day itself, I met with Julian and his groomsmen at The Blue Boar Abridge where they got ready whilst Chris went to look after Charlene and her bridesmaids at the couple’s home a short drive away. The guys were just so lovely, cheeky and fun to shoot. However, I think reality soon hit as Julian went very quiet and the nerves started to set in! This is one wedding that I’ll always remember. At the church, Charlene looked simply stunning in a cream satin Phillipa Lepley gown with a pearl and crystal hair piece. She carried an elegant bouquet of pale pink roses with white freesia as her dad walked her down the aisle. The couple chose a colour scheme  of pinks and grey which carried through from the ceremony to the reception venue with table centres of roses, gerberas and freesias. We’re lucky enough to call Charlene and Julian our friends now and we can’t wait to see where life takes them! Here are a few photos from their beautiful day…
