Nonsuch Mansion Wedding Photography | Nicky & Paul
There was something about Nicky and Paul’s wedding that intrigued me when my beau, Chris, told me that they were having autumnal colours of orange and green. Normally, those colours would scare the bejeezers out of me as I’d imagine some gaudy Halloween theme, BUT not when the venue is the fabulous Nonsuch Mansion and the floral designer is none other than the very talented Jay Archer who placed bay trees, pumpkins and all sorts of wondrous trinkets with her magic wand. It turns out Nicky had planned her wedding to perfection and the attention to detail was simply superb with gorgeous hues of coral, orange and sage green. True to form, I was there to look after the boys whilst Chris took on the girls. Paul & his gents added finishing touches to the venue and squeezed a little band practise in for later as his band became the evening’s entertainment. The boys looked great in 3-piece grey suits teamed with sage green ties and Nicky’s bridesmaids wore gorgeous orangey-coral chiffon dresses. Nicky looked simply stunning in a full length, ivory lace gown with caplet shoulders and a fabulous pair of mint green heels. Her bouquet was elegantly autumnal with dahlias, herbs, seed heads, berries and succulents. Guests enjoyed drinks and canapés whilst being entertained by a four-piece jazz band before heading for a yummy dinner in the beautiful Orchid Room. As the October skies darkened, the dance floor filled as Paul’s band started to play. The chefs bought out the immense cheese tower cake adorned with figs, dried fruits and nuts and the sweet table kept energy levels going for the dance floor. The photo booth was out in force too and guests had so much fun playing up to the camera.
