Nonsuch Mansion Wedding Photography | Kat & Dan
Summer seems like such an age ago and an age away, so I thought I’d bring you the warm hues of Kat and Dan’s wedding at
Nonsuch Mansion in Surrey.
As you know, I do a fair bit of second shooting for my husband,
Chris Giles , and this was one of those days when I got to work with my beau.
I began with Dan, the groomsmen and a few guests at the
Brooklands Hotel, Surrey which sits amongst the historic
Brooklands race track.
Brooklands Hotel is an uber slick, luxurious 4 star hotel styled around the art deco period and simply exudes bygone glamour. As guests sipped on drinks on the terrace under the sun’s rays, Dan looked dashing in a grey three-piece suit from
Reiss with a sage green tie as they all watched the race track begin to fill with the day’s races.
We were soon on our way to
Nonsuch Mansion where Kat had her hair and make-up expertly tended to by the fabulous
Steph at
Beauty Call and then slipped into her ivory, fishtail lace dress from
All That Glitters Bridal and leopard-print heels by
Dune.
After the ceremony, guests enjoyed drinks, canapes and the yumminess of the
Matt Benecci Ice Cream Co. on the lawns of the house with the lovely singer,
James Taylor , at the musical helm.
Candles and floral blooms, by the amazingly talented
Jay Archer Floral Design , adorned tables and mantlepieces of this beautiful venue. Jay used soft greens and whites with elegant touches of peach and blush pink which looked all rustic and luxe. I adored the birch ‘tripod’ centrepieces which wowed guests and as the Orchid Room was unveiled to Kat before dinner, she cried with happiness and flung her arms around Jay. Trust me, working with Jay is an absolute pleasure and her work always delights!
Guests were soon tucking into dinner and dancing the night away. We also had the photo booth that night too. Here are a few photos from their day…
