Lovekyn Chapel & RAC Woodcote Park Wedding Photography| Laura & Daniel
‘One of the best decisions we made for our wedding was having Laura as our photographer. She really was amazing and fitted in so well with all my friends and family who all felt so comfortable around her. Most of the day I hardly even noticed Laura was there, she seamlessly fitted in and was so professional whilst still getting along with everyone and making everyone feel at ease. These are photos I will cherish forever, they tell the most wonderful story of our day and the best bit is that there are so many pictures that bought back memories that I had completely forgotten had happened. My husband is a man of very few words but he described Laura as ‘simply stunning from start to finish’. I couldn’t recommend Laura enough, nothing is too much trouble and you know you are in the most excellent hands from the very start to the very end. Thank you Laura so very much, you simply are the best!’
~ Laura & Daniel
Words cannot describe just how much I adored Laura and Daniel’s wedding! They married on a most blissfully gorgeous May’s day and the weather couldn’t have been more perfect.
Laura and her small entourage got ready at the RAC Woodcote Park in Surrey, a stunning private members club set in 350 acres of beautiful countryside. Laura wore a simple column wedding gown with lace cap sleeves and lace accents at her waist from Luella’s Boudoir. A gysophila flower crown, veil and bouquet of fluffy white hydrangeas elegantly finished off her look whilst bridesmaids looked fab in modern-vintage lace dresses and gysophila bouquets.
Guests soon boarded an old London Routemaster from Ensign Bus Hire which took them to Lovekyn Chapel in Kingston-upon-Thames, a light-filled and elegant space that suited Laura & Daniel down to the ground! Daniel looked like every groom should – just that little bit nervous! In all seriousness, he looked super sharp in grey/blue tweed with bow tie, very dapper.
Laura soon arrived in a vintage Rolls Royce from Bow Field Hire which glimmered in the sunlight, but did have an unfortunate turn of events when the chauffer went to turn the car around ready for the newlyweds, the key got stuck in the ignition and refused to budge – super cringe moment! Ah, the joys of something old! The couple took it in their stride and were soon whisked off in a friend’s Mercedes for the couple’s grand entrance back at their reception venue, the RAC Woodcote Park.
The beautiful Cedar Room at RAC Woodcote Park looked stunning as light filled the room and tables were adorned with soft pastel garden flowers in vintage tin pails and twine covered bottles, and a yummy naked cake by Emma Hunkin Cakes took pride of place for all to see. Guests were treated to a sumptious meal, moved by emotional speeches and surprised by mishaps of some odd waiters, but these were no ordinary waiters, these were non other than The Singing Waiters! I’ve seen these guys a few times and they are so entertaining that it wasn’t long until people were all wooed by this charming lot and up on their feet dancing!
Before long, the late spring sunshine was setting and guests spilled onto the lawns for some air before taking to the dance floor for Laura and Daniel’s first dance and throwing some serious shapes on dancefloor or throwing a pose in the photobooth.
A stunningly gorgeous day! Here are some more images from their day…
