The Honourable Artillery Company HAC Wedding Photography | Rosie & Joe
‘We had a great day working with Laura and her husband at our wedding. They made us completely at ease and were a lot of fun. From the start it was clear that they had a great deal of knowledge about what they were doing. There were little things and big things that they helped hugely with, things we had even considered too. We were really pleased with the pictures which had a great mix of some more traditional group shots, some imaginative/urban couple shots and a good amount of our friends and family having a lovely time. It was really nice to enjoy our day and feel no pressure to get lots of photos but at the same time come away with just what we wanted so that we didn’t regret not taking more. Thank you very much!!’

If at any point you’re considering it and think that a November wedding is slightly nuts on a weather front (ha! see what I did there?!), then honestly don’t worry! Yes, it’s a bit chilly but everyone expects it, so it’s no surprise and I kinda like that the weather is pretty much consistent in late autumn, regardless.
Which leads me on nicely to that gorgeous season, Autumn. It’s bloody lovely and the light is INCREDIBLE. Autumn leaves still have those gold, orange and red hues, and skies are crisp. Any windy gusts act as Mother Nature’s very own wind machine for you and those model-esque moments. Being able to huddle in for warmth with your loved one/s prompts natural giddy laughter that normally ensues with the playfulness of it all. AND THEN…you can run inside for warmth and hopefully to the calls of warm mulled wine and nibbles…I mean what’s not to love?!
Rosie & Joe did just that for their London wedding at The HAC (The Honourable Artillery Company). After a beautifully personal ceremony at St Francis of Assisi RC Church in Stratford, everyone boarded classic red Routemaster buses which took in the sights of London on the way.
Their vision for the day was one that echoed winter; elegant, clean and simple with a colour palette of greens, whites and greys.
The HAC is simply stunning in it’s grandeur. The 18th Century Armoury House, true to its Georgian style, is steeped in a long and fascinating history. It wasn’t until after Rosie and Joe had booked the wedding venue that history really did unfold itself, as they discovered medals that once belonged to Rosie’s Great-great-grandfather’s in The HAC’s Medal Room…how cool is that?!
If you’re planning a wedding at The HAC or even just a November wedding, then I’d love to hear from you!
Here’s more from Rosie & Joe’s fabulous day…
