Guernsey Wedding Photography | Christina & Anthony

I was lucky enough to be invited to be Christina and Anthony’s wedding photographer in beautiful Guernsey, Channel Islands. Although the couple live and work in London, they both grew up in Guernsey so knew they just had to marry there.

The day started at Christina’s family home with just close family helping her bridal preparations. After their wedding ceremony at Town Church in St Peter Port, we made our way to the harbour for some portraits in a nod to Anthony’s love of rowing and the water. I love incorporating elements of my couples’ lives into their wedding photography as it makes images even more personal. There was even a close call arrival from Anthony’s bestman who had been delayed in his Indian Ocean rowing expedition

Guests from all over the world made their way to Anthony’s family home where a garden party awaited. Decorated in country flowers, vintage rowing oars, bunting and many family homemade touches, it was simply beautiful. A garden wedding is always so intimate and personal no matter the number of guests, and it allows for so much flexibility too. Partying can last into the small hours and there are less rules, so they always tend to be more fun too.

If you’re planning a Guernsey wedding and looking for natural wedding photography, then please get in touch…I’d love to be there with you all!
