Gate Street Barn Wedding Photography | Clare & Guy
There’s just something about an autumn wedding that I adore, so when Clare and Guy got in touch about their wedding at Gate Street Barn, I was quite excited! A wedding in one of the most beautiful wedding venues in Surrey, nestled in countryside and woodland, and you all know how I adore that autumn light! The grounds offer such variety for couple portraits. I’m really not sure what more you could want from a Surrey wedding venue! I was last at Gate Street Barn for Daniella & Richard’s wedding there, so it was great to be back!
Emerald green, navy and little pops of colour with rustic pretty and fun touches led the style of the day which the couple knew they wanted to be elegant, relaxed but fun too. Clare & Guy also made me slightly giddy too because they’re both super tall beauties which meant I didn’t dwarf them either! It’s the little things!!!
My favourite set of moments from the wedding day were when capturing these little beautifully tender moment’s between Clare & Guy and their baby daughter, seeing Clare’s dad’s utter surprise and joy of seeing his beautiful bride daughter for the first time. Of course, a special mention goes to the face of the Screener of the Best Man’s speech face who realised his best placed efforts went in vain as the Best Man tore up the rule book and just went for it hook, line and sinker! I’ve got to say, it was the funniest speech I’ve heard in a long time, but he was a brave, BRAVE man!
Beautiful people, beautiful venue, beautiful light, beautiful emotions. Congratulations Clare and Guy and thanks for having me there – it was a privilege to capture it all for you and your families!
