Farbridge Wedding Photography | Kate & James
Ah, the lovely Kate & James! This gorgeous pair actually live in Arizona in the US, but were born’n’bred in the UK, so there was only one place for them to get wed and that had to be in Sussex where the couple originated from. Kate and I actually married our men just a week apart in May, so we regularly messaged each other, chatted on Skype and met up when she came back for family visits/wedding planning to talk/stress about all things wedding-y! Kate’s excitement was infectious!
I actually second shot for
Chris at Kate and James’ wedding which was held at
Farbridge, a beautifully restored barns venue set in the rural landscape of the Sussex Downs. It was a wonderfully warm late spring day and guests jetted in from various corners of the world to be there.
Elegant soft pink, cream and whites were the scheme of the day and they really worked with the overall feel of the barns and the beautiful summery weather too – all very fresh, pretty and summery…thinking about it, this is exactly how I would describe Kate too!
Whilst Chris looked after Kate and her girls at the family home, I met with James and the boys at Farbridge where they decorated the barn and then got ready. The guys were a lot of fun and loved the camera…one perhaps a little more ‘cheeky’ than most, but I’ll let you find that one out for yourselves!
Farbridge gives you so much to play with when it comes to photography – fields, gates, bridges over streams and rustic old farm buildings – it’s a just joy to shoot there!
Here are a few photos from their day…
