‘The one thing we wanted from a photographer was someone who would blend in and spot the natural, organic moments that happened throughout the day. We got exactly this with Laura and so much more! Laura had such a creative approach to the photographs but some of my favourite shots of the whole day are of us in a cornfield. We have had so many compliments from guests about her too. I could not rate her highly enough – in fact, we even showed off all our photos and talked about how much we loved her so much that two of our very good friends have booked her up for their wedding too. There are weddings that you just know will just be an absolute fun fest from the off. Katy and Scott’s wedding at The English Wine Centre in Alfriston didn’t disappoint in the slightest! These two were super relaxed and wanted their day to reflect this whilst being surrounded by their awesome people.

The English Wine Centre is a super rustic barn venue nestled in the prettiest of quintessential English gardens and countryside. The couple went with a simple, rustic style with sapphire blue hints…and ducks…yes, ducks! Katy’s talented dad hand drew all of the table duck illustrations and the wooden table ducks…well, let’s just say wedding guests made sure there were lots of compromising duck positions!!!

Katy & Scott are the first to admit that they aren’t the most camera comfy and avoid it wherever possible but working with them was so much fun and they soon felt super comfortable. I often say that it’s more about working with me than the camera which I totally get isn’t the most comfortable for most. Heading out to a nearby cornfield after dinner gave them time together and I just captured them just simply having fun against the late summer’s evening. Gorgeous, huh?!

Having a set of fun people at your wedding just elevated their day even more…from an excitable bunch of bridesmaids to a gorgeously lovely family to a group of boys who absolutely have your back (or not when it came to the speech)…this was just a fabulously fab wedding!!!
