Emma & Phil’s Intimate Wedding at The White Hart Inn Chalfont St Giles

‘We were dreading finding a wedding photographer and having our pics taken, but then we found Laura! She was wonderfully professional but also absolutely lovely, we immediately felt she “got us”. We couldn’t have asked for anything more. She was unobtrusive and made everyone feel at ease. Brilliantly supportive and smoothing out many a last minute panics. Laura was just like a friend we had known for years. Our day was lovely and I remained much calmer because she was there! Then we got our photographs, wow wow wow! I have never liked a photo with me in it, suddenly I have loads I absolutely LOVE. They are beautiful and completely capture the atmosphere of our wedding. Laura thank you so very much, you helped make our day everything we dreamed of and we now have photographs we adore!’

Our very first chat…
‘There’s not one photo I like with me in it’, Emma said with an element of deflation. ‘Oh no, no – not on my watch! Let’s see if we can change that, huh?’, I replied. Emma and Phil are self-confessed camera dodgers, but love photos and if I could get just one photo that they loved of themselves, then that would make me so very happy. CHALLENGE ACCEPTED!!!
Just a matter of weeks before their wedding, Emma’s parents had a terrible house fire and Emma’s dream of getting ready in her family home was dashed, but everyone rallied around making sure her family were safe and that everybody had a fabulous wedding day.
The couple married at Seers Green Baptist Church and followed their intimate reception at The White Hart Inn surrounded by their wonderful friends and family. The couple were especially excited to have photos by the village pond and weeping willow…but then…I became the biggest kid when I saw a babbling stream that I had to bound into with trouser legs rolled up like an over-excited puppy and the biggest buttercup field I ever did see…’Follow me!’ I screamed! I adore Emma and Phil so much. They were so much fun, honest and trusting – true friends for life made right there!
Special mention has to go to Emma’s amazing grandad who absolutely threw those dance floor moves and stayed on it when most had withered…Grandads rock!
