Christina & Mike’s Engagement Love Shoot at Stanmer Park

It can be all too easy to over analyse in this game whether it’s over the minute of details of your wedding day or even as a photographer – will our personalities work together? Working with your client’s personalities to get the best from them and give them your best too is super important. Photos can feel like a massive pressure in this perceived ‘perfect’ world but I can promise to make them absolutely bearable for even the best camera-hater and even give you something you love! Christina and Mike had already booked me for their wedding day at Bartholomew Barn but emailed me as their friends had said how much an engagement shoot had helped. And it’s true they absolutely do. I knew the photos wouldn’t be their most favourite bit and I totally get that being a bit of a scaredy cat of the camera too! In any case, a pre-shoot will really help settle your photo nerves – we get to have a bit of fun, you get used to my silly random-ness, I get to capture two people om their wonderful journey and you get some pretty fab photos of you just being you! Christina and Mike met up with me in Stanmer Park in Brighton, my fave nature reserve too. There are so many opportunities here and pretty much away from other people too. After a little catch-up over a brew, we pootled about the blossom, orchard and old barns to get these yummy images…it was as simple as that!
