Caitlin & Richard’s Meadow Whites Fitzleroi Barn Wedding
‘When we first met Laura we immediately felt totally at ease and that she was going to go above and beyond for our wedding. She immediately put us at ease and it felt so natural and normal to have her there. She’s such a bubbly, fun character and was really lovely to work with. We’ve had a huge amount of comments from our guests to say how brilliant she was. We’re so happy with our photos, they’re really beautiful. She also sent us an incredibly thoughtful package along with the USB which was so personal. She was so organised on the day and had a great eye for detail as well as being really creative. I would highly recommend Laura to anyone looking for a wedding photographer – she’s talented, fun, professional, approachable, and has produced great photos which we’ll treasure for ever and which are incredible mementos from our special day. We really couldn’t have asked for anyone better.’
~ Caitlin & Rich
Oh gosh, where do I even begin with this gorgeous duo’s day?! Blue skies set the tone as preparations got underway at The Cottage at Lee Farm, a delightful self catering cottage located within easy reach of the South Downs in West Sussex.
Caitlin spent time relaxing with close family before heading to the very beautiful Fitzleroi Barn in Pulborough to marry her man.
I love Fitzleroi Barn because it nestles in the beautiful Sussex countryside and is so relaxed in it’s being that it offers a ‘home from home’ experience – it just feels so lovely and comfortable. The surrounding countryside and gorgeous sunsets provide ideal spots for photos too and I’m always in my element there.
Caitlin looked simply stunning in her bespoke lace and soft satin dress complete with oversized grey-silver bow and white bouquet blooms from Amanda Refoy. Rich and the gents of the wedding party couldn’t have looked more handsome in blue three-piece suits with spotty bow ties too – relaxed country elegance in all it’s glory!
The weather was just perfect and guests were able to relax in the courtyard before being treated to family-style eating by the amazing Champion Caterers who expertly whipped up a hog roast of all hog roasts. The main barn looked so pretty in white with mismatched jam jars of country flowers and twinkly fairy lights. Caitlin was soon seen to be reaching for the nearest table cloth to hide under as her Dad’s speech left guests in fits of giggles and her in sher embarrassment as he lifted the lid on her history of antics – I’ve got to say, his was one of the best Dad’s speeches ever! With the main barn doors flung open to allow for the summer air, guests mingled, played garden games and danced the night away to a five-piece funk band.
Caitlin and Rich are absolute kindred spirits and compliment each immensely. They were so natural to work with, even if the camera was a bit scary for them – I know, you’d never believe it looking at their couple shots, right?! We got the most beautiful shots and they just trusted me, and sometimes thats all it takes!
Here are some more shots of their day…
