Brighton Wedding Love with Tracey & James – Blanch House

When I first met Tracey and James, we sat round their kitchen table with a cup of tea in hand talking about their fab plans for their Brighton wedding. Admittedly (and as always), I got a little sidetracked by animals, as I found one of their resident cats perched on top of the fortress (a.k.a. chicken wire) protecting the resident goldfish…I’m not actually sure if that wire was protecting the goldfish or the cat because that goldfish was definitely taunting the cat with a look of world domination in the master plan! Fast forward to their wedding day and just a short pootle from my own home was Blanch House, a gorgeous boutique hotel in Brighton. Blanch House sits just a stone’s throw from Brighton’s iconic beach which never fails to make people feel super happy. Tracey and James adore Brighton and nothing pleases them more than a cheeky seaside weekend away with friends creating memories. Tracey and her bridemaids were getting ready in the sumptuous Perrier Jouet room complete with tall windows and gorgeous original architectural features. Make-up Artist, Tania Stephenson Oliver, expertly preened these ladies into even more utter gorgeousness and before long Tracey dressed into her tea-length lace wedding dress from Cutting Edge Brides complete with fascinator which just looked so awesome against her red curls. Her Gunns bouquet included elegant white cala lillies, soft peach roses and blue thistles – a nod to her Scottish roots. Tracey is a lady after my own heart…she LOVES a shoe and she didn’t disappoint with full on glorious gold glitter heels amongst the plethora of SIX pairs she had planned on wearing throughout the day! James and his bestman went out early for a spot of breakfast before dressing in a light grey suit with floral shirt and ‘Groom’ prefect’s badge…of course! After a short ceremony at Blanch House, guests headed to the Champage & Cocktail Bar within the hotel for bubbles and nibbles. Tracey & James changed into their Mr & Mrs Converse trainers before joining a handful of their nearest and dearest as we headed to the beach for photos. The Brighton Breeze was also on that day and who do I find, but Noel and ‘Candy’ the VW Camper from Deluxe Wedding Hire (who took me to my own wedding and Gem to her gorgeous day too!). Noel was wonderful in letting us take a few shots with Candy…Thanks Noel, ever the star! A stroll back at sunset to Blanch House and dinner was soon served. Speeches held no prisoners in true form, whilst a bottle of mango chili schnapps passed from table to table, ensuring silly antics…just the way I like ’em! Be sure to keep scrollin’ to see more from this fabulous day of fun, love and absolute laughter…
