Lauren & Scott’s Elegant Buxted Park WeddingLauraEl
I first met Lauren a fair few years ago through my sister when the girls transcended on Brighton for a weekend of shopping and dancing – it was a fun weekend! Fast forward to 2014 and Lauren was wedding planning as her beau, Scott, had proposed and quite right too! She contacted me about her wedding and after a few chats she booked Chris and I to shoot their wedding day at the beautiful Buxted Park nestled in the East Sussex countryside. For this day, we decided that Chris would take the lead whilst I looked after the boys and second shot.
The couple married at St Margaret the Queen’s church, literally a stones throw from Buxted Park too. Scott looked stylish in navy whilst Lauren looked the epitome of beauty in a figure hugging strapless lace gown with full length veil from Teokath. Their day was simply stunning in tones of peach and cream expertly tied together by Pollen, which sat beautifully with Buxted Park’s setting. It was a perfectly warm June day which allowed guests to sprawl onto the lawns to enjoy the drinks reception and blue skies. As ever, as guests enjoyed dinner, the awesome Marc D at Buxted Park cared for and entertained guests in his normal madcapped french manner which is always a joy!
We were treated to the most prettiest sunset that evening, so we headed into the gardens for some time out and some super pretty shots. The dance floor was soon filled as guests surrounded it for Lauren & Scott’s first dance and guests soon joined in as their DJ let off a confetti cannon and the beats flowed. I’m so pleased we could witness this pairing get wed and capture it all for them too…fabulous day!
